Use this form to report specific material that you believe is illegal or infringes rights and is stored in hosted Nostos. This form sends the notice to the hosted service; this website does not keep a separate legal case database.

Before you report

Hosted Nostos libraries are private. A report therefore needs enough precise information for an operator to locate the material without making private customer or library information public.

Submitting a report confirms only that Nostos received your notice. It does not confirm whether a named user, book, file, or account exists.

This process is for hosted Nostos. If someone runs Nostos on their own hardware, Nostos does not host that self-hosted user's files and cannot remove them from that independent installation.

If you provide an address, Nostos can acknowledge or follow up on the report. Some reports may lawfully omit contact details.

How we can locate the material

Give precise information available to you: for example the relevant Nostos URL, account context, publication details, or other identifiers. Do not guess private tenant identifiers.

Include the right or law you believe is implicated and useful supporting references. This first version does not accept file attachments; describe or link to evidence instead.

The public form is abuse-protected and rate-limited. Do not submit passwords, payment details, or copies of the reported work unless an operator later asks for something specific.

What happens next

Nostos records the notice under a stable report identifier for operator review. Depending on the report and applicable rules, an operator may ask for more information, take no action, restrict access while preserving material, or remove specifically identified hosted content.

Affected users are not given a reporter's personal information by default. Valid judicial or administrative orders may also limit what Nostos can disclose about an investigation or action.
